Pasta is something that tempts us the most out of all the meals. Be it an arranged banquet or a simple home chow, if its Pasta, we are super happy to go with it.Even the natural imagination of it causes your mouth to drop water, beat the fact.Not sure about you but I simply can’t resist it even if I am on a strict diet. Once a week, majorly twice week pasta is a must-thingy for me or else I can’t survive in this world.
I have been trying to upgrade my Pasta recipe every time I cook it, with the addition or skipping of two or more ingredients. This is for establishing an ideal taste to flaunt my cooking creativity in front of my friends and family. You can make it in less than 25 minutes and even reduced if you are too skilled in the task. Your constant practice may render you even fast preparation in the moments of extreme hunger and this is a win-win situation for those who can’t seem to stand the starvation. A happy meal for some, a night time back for many, I have not put any mood restrictions for Pasta.
Here the craving hits, there I stand up to make me a bowl of Pasta:
The easy and quick making in the microwave has even intrigued me to cook it any time of the day, where preparing it on the stove asks for double time. The art of cooking is not limited to a single style of the recipe because as you go on learning this art, you get to explore your tastes and textures, not to be taught and tested by others altogether.
So the complete pasta recipe has been split up into two parts, you may follow them as described here, one by one and sooner you will be sitting on the couch with your Pasta bowl in your hand.
Boiling the Pasta
The first step you will look into after making up your mind and entering the kitchen would be to find that Pasta packet, of course.
⁃ Take out the oven-safe bowl or saucepan.
⁃ Put in it Pasta from the packet as per need.
⁃ Fill the bowl or saucepan with enough water that if you dip your finger, the water should be 2 inches high.
⁃ Add a spoon of salt in the water mixed pasta.
⁃ Later add a spoon of vegetable oil and mix it well.
Note: You may also add noodles in it if you want, well, depending upon your creative recipe and taste. If you do so, add the noodles along with the Pasta but take care of the water. The Pasta and noodles should be 2 inches down the water.
⁃If you intend to add noodles too, break them in halves. If the size is even bigger then, you may break them thrice their actual size.
⁃Put the bowl or saucepan in the microwave.
⁃Check the instructions on the Pasta packet.
⁃Whatever time the packet instruction mentions, add supplementary 3 or 4 minutes and adjust the timer accordingly.
Note: If you like extra soft pasta, add 4 minutes and if you like a little crunchy, hard to feel inside the mouth, and then add just 2 or 3 minutes in the already prescribed timer.
So, if the packet says to boil for 8 minutes, you are going to boil it for 11 or 12 minutes depending upon your personal choice.
⁃ When the microwave beeps, take out the bowl or saucepan carefully with the help of an oven glove.
⁃ Take out the colander and put it in the sink.
⁃ Meanwhile, take out a little Pasta with the help of a spoon to check if it has been boiled to soft as per the need. Otherwise, put the bowl back in the microwave for an additional 2 to 3 minutes heat.
⁃ Drain all the water through it and save Pasta.
⁃ Place the Pasta aside to drain the leftover water.
Note: If you accidentally boil extra Pasta, you can store it in the jar inside the refrigerator for the other day. The jar should be well covered in this case.
Prepare the Sauce
Preparing the sauce for the Pasta is the second step of the process. Put secondary, you can easily prepare to cook the sauce when the Pasta is in the microwave. Until then, mix the ingredients and once the boiled Pasta is out, but the sauce inside. Well, everyone has their own varied and unique sauce recipe according to the preferred taste. Here’s mine.
The ultimate Directions
⁃Take an oven-safe bowl and put the grounded or chopped chicken into it. Put in the stock cube too.
⁃Add Alfredo sauce into it, as per the taste.
Note: The quantity of chicken has to be decided as per the quantity of Pasta and thus the quantity of Alfredo sauce is entirely based on the quantity of chicken.
⁃Finely chop a medium-sized onion and add in the bowl.
⁃Take about two tomatoes and chop them into small pieces. Add these in the bowl too.
⁃Grate two garlic cloves and add them in the mixture.
⁃Take your favorite vegetables, I took carrot and cabbage here. You may skip these or replace them with your preferred ones.
⁃Take a large-sized carrot and a small cabbage to slice them into small pieces.
⁃Chop the vegetables too and add them in the bowl.
⁃Add a full tablespoon of chili powder.
⁃Add a half tablespoon of black pepper. You can replace it with white pepper too.
⁃Add a half tablespoon of oregano in it.
⁃Stir well with the help of a spatula.
⁃Sprinkle some cumin and carom seeds over it.
⁃If the bowl has a secure lid, well and good, otherwise cover the bowl with the help of a plastic sheet and put it inside the microwave oven.
Note: It’s better to double the wrap if you are using a plastic sheet.
⁃Adjust the timer for 8 minutes at first.
⁃After 8 minutes, take it out and check the meat. If it has developed a perfectly bruised brownish color, it’s ready. If you can observe pink patches, it will take more time.
⁃Further, adjust the timer for 3 to 5 minutes and check again.
⁃Pour this sauce over your Pasta and sprinkle some chopped olives over it too.

The Pasta recipe may vary from person to person, kitchen to kitchen, home to home. Some may like red sauce while others have the white sauce as their favorite.
