Step 1: Taking Away the Grates

First thing first! You have to lift up the gas grates from your stove and place then inside the sink of your kitchen. Make sure that the grime doesn’t harm your hands. To keep your hands clean, you can use gloves.

Do not try to take both grates together as these are a little heavy. Take one first and then the other. Also, if you do not have a sink, you can use the basin of the kitchen.

Step 2: Washing with Dishwasher

Now, take the burners and wash then with water. For better result, you can use lukewarm water here. Lukewarm water has the ability to help the grime loosen.

Here, you need to mix the lukewarm water with a little dishwasher. Mix the dishwasher with the lukewarm water in a big bowl or sink. Now, insert the burners there. It will help in removing the initial film.

Step 3: Baking Soda Mix

With the help of baking soda, you have to make a mixture that can be used as a cleaner. Take some baking soda and also take water.

Take a bowl and take both of the ingredients. Now, mix both ingredients properly. Make sure that the mixture is thick so that you can be better as a cleaner.

Step 4: Coating Burners

Now, all you need to do is coat the burners. For this, you have to take the baking soda cleaner that you make and create a coat over the burners. After coating it properly, you have to keep the paste over the burners for a while.

Give it about 20-30 minutes and let it set properly. Now wait and after 20 minutes, you will be ready to clean it.

Step 5: Scrubbing and Rinsing

For doing the scrubbing work, you will need a scrubbing brush. Scrubbing brush can take out the food residue that’s on the burners. Now, take the brush and scrub the surface of the burner properly.

After you are done, wash the burners in lukewarm water. Dry the burners and place them again on the stove. You are done!

Cleaning Gas Range Burners with Commercial Cleaner

Step 1: Lift up the Grates

For cleaning the gas range burner with a commercial cleaner, first of all, you have to take out the grates from the stove. Or doing this, you can use gloves so that your hands stay dirt-free. Wear gloves and take out the burners and lift them up. Now, you have to place then in the sink or basin.

If you keep them in the sink, the other places will not get dirty. Also, if you have a stove that includes grates having interlocking prices, unlock them first. And after that, place them in the sink.

Step 2: Coating Grates

Now that you are ready to clean the burners, you have to get ready for coating the grates. You already know how tough it is to remove the grime on the burners. And to make this work easier, the best solution is oven cleaning spray.

Take your spray more or less 10 cm away from the burners. Now spray on the burners. This will create a generous coating over them. Wait for 20-30 minutes and let it set properly. The reason for using this is loosening the grease. This will help you clean the burners easier than before.

Step 3: Coating Stovetop

You have to repeat the same process again here on the stovetop to clean the stovetop. Take the spray again and keep it 10 cm away from the stovetop.

Now spray a decent amount on the whole surface. Look if any of the places have too much grime. If there is any, spray a little more. Keep it there for about 20-30 min and let it sit.

Step 4: Wipe off Grime

As the grime is already loose, you have to clean the stovetop with a cloth. Here, you have to take a cloth and make it wet in warm water. Get your hands on the back part o the stove. Keep cleaning it with the cloth and keep moving forward.

You can also go for a kitchen sponge if you don’t want to go for cloth. While wiping, if you feel that the sponge or cloth is getting too dirty, clean it with clean water and wring it. And then, keep cleaning until you are done.

Step 5: Wash the Grates

Now that you are done with the stovetop, you have to move your eyes to the grates. After 20-30 minutes of spraying, you have to wash the grates. Before that, take cleaning cloth and clean the grates. Make sure you clean it properly.

Wear gloves if you need them. After cleaning, wash the grates in your sink. Now, dry them. Now, you are ready to get back your perfect stove! Place the grates on the stove again and you are done!
